Kumquat

So I've experienced a lot this summer. Unfortunately, the one thing that stands out among everything else was helping my girlfriend this past week get ready for her dorm. See, my girlfriend is an RA this year on campus and the theme she has chosen for her building is "Fruits of the Spirit." Great idea, in my opinion. The problem is, she decided every single person in the building would have a fruit as a nametag. Let the party begin!

She spent the better of a week and a half creating this fruit and I stood by watching, most of the time. That is, until her final night at home (I've been living with her this summer in order to have an internship here in the cities). That night, I decided to lend my artistic expertise--more lack thereof. Over the course of that night, I made around 7 fruits--seems like a lot compared to the 43 total. Well, I decided to take a leap away from the average raspberry, orange, apple, grape deal and tackle a kumquat.

Yes, I made a kumquat.

It is yellow/orange with a snot looking slab of white in the middle complete with 2 seeds. I think it's a beautiful kumquat. Tori laughs at it.
